(via British Museum) are u sure this is a lion, british museum are u sure it is not a tiger with a regal ermine capelet can you tell me why the british have had such a long standing obsession with a cat that is so foreign to their soil as to be unimaginable by its artists? I always assumed it was the same reason I’m obsessed with dragons.  ’cause they’re swag mofos. But then again this does raise a cultural question… hm….
